Every article in our Knowledge Base exists to help a real parent through a real problem — not to fill a page for search engines.
Who Writes Our Content
Verlae's Knowledge Base is written and maintained by our founder, Alysha, and our small team — most of it drawing directly from lived experience running a blended family across two homes, plus the operational background Alysha brought from years managing organisations before Verlae existed.
Where an article makes a factual claim beyond personal experience — a statistic, a research finding, a general recommendation — we link to the original source so you can read it yourself. You'll find these under "Sources & Further Reading" at the bottom of relevant articles.
Our Principles
What We're Not
We're not a medical, legal or mental health authority, and nothing in our Knowledge Base should be taken as professional advice. Where a topic touches on legal custody arrangements, child development, or mental health, we encourage readers to speak with a qualified professional — our articles are designed to help with the practical, day-to-day organisation of family life, not to replace expert guidance.
If you ever spot something in our content that's outdated, unclear, or you believe is inaccurate, we want to know. Every message to our support team is read by a real person on our team.
