Verlae — Family Coordination Platform  ·  Last Updated: June 2026

About These Terms

By creating an account or using Verlae, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

In the meantime, by using Verlae you agree to use the platform lawfully and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility and Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to create a Verlae account. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are the parent or legal guardian of any children whose information is added to the account.

Children under the age of 18 may use Verlae only through a parent or guardian's account. Children may not create their own accounts.

Subscription, Billing and Refunds

Verlae is a paid subscription service. By providing your payment details and selecting a plan you authorise us to charge your nominated payment method for the subscription amount selected.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder before your subscription renews.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with Verlae within the first 30 days of your subscription, contact us at privacy@verlaehome.com and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked. This guarantee applies once per account.

Founding Member Rate: If you signed up as a Founding Member, your rate of $9.99 USD/month is locked for the lifetime of your continuous subscription. This rate applies only while your subscription remains active. If you cancel and resubscribe, the standard rate at that time will apply.

To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Account → Subscription and follow the cancellation steps, or contact us at privacy@verlaehome.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your data remains accessible until that date.

What happens to your data if you cancel: Your family data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you wish to reactivate. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted. You can request an export of your data at any time from Settings → Account.

Children's Data

Verlae is designed to help families manage household information including information about children. We take the privacy and security of children's information seriously.

By adding a child's information to your Verlae account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child and that you consent to their information being stored in the app.

Children's information — including names, dates of birth, school details, health notes, and schedules — is only visible to:

Children's information is never visible to other families, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties except as required by law.

We collect only the information you choose to enter. You are in control of what information is stored and can delete it at any time.

Your Data Belongs to You

All information you enter into Verlae — including family details, schedules, meal plans, documents, and children's information — belongs to you and your family.

Verlae does not claim any ownership or licence over your family data.

A full list of third-party services used to operate Verlae and their privacy policies is available on request.

Data Export and Deletion

You have the right to:

Respectful Communication

Verlae is designed to promote respectful, child-focused communication between family members and co-parents. To support this, Verlae operates automated content moderation features on certain communication fields within the platform.

These features are designed to protect the wellbeing of all family members, particularly children who may be affected by ongoing conflict between adults using the platform.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from your use of Verlae will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

To the extent permitted by law, nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Verlae's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Verlae is provided in good faith and we will work to maintain reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not liable for any loss of data, interruption of service, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time via Settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

If we terminate your account other than for the above reasons, we will provide reasonable notice and a pro-rata refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of Verlae without our written permission.

Warranty Disclaimer

Verlae is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

We recommend you maintain your own backups of critical family information. You can export your data at any time from Settings.
